I am BenSam but that is not my real name. Those are just the acronyms of my 2 worlds, Benjamin and Samuel. I am a passionate SEO consultant based in Houston, Texas. My SEO journey started back in 2007 when I was living in Europe and the country was still struggling with the aftermath of a bitter (wish it never happened and wish it will never happen again) civil war that destroyed everything. Not just industries but lives as well.

Then, you never knew whether it was better to live or die. Terrible! Sorry, I don't want to bother you with that. Let's focus on SEO.

I started my SEO journey out of necessity. I needed to provide food on the table for Benjamin and Samuel and their mother my then wife.

I was a reluctantly professional musician for 15 years. Being reluctant, I mean I didn't want to do it. Even though I am musically talented (self taught guitar player, in born percussion as an Africa, good ears for tones etc), I still didn't want to go into music despite all the offers I received.

Oh by the way, while a student at the University of Novi Sad Serbia, I studied and graduated electronics engineering but the war in former Yugoslavia changed my life and I believe millions of lives forever.

I Started Making Money Through Affiliate Programs

That was in fact the real reason I ended up with search engine optimization in the first place. Playing in night clubs wasn't yielding any significant earning because everyone was broke due to the civil war.

This guy came in to one of our shows after, according to him, hearing that an African was singing and cracking jokes in Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian and Montenegrin languages and in a nearby nightclub! This was too much for him. He had to find out himself and he did and I am happy he did. My life changed for the better after the encounter.

Now since I am in Houston Texas, I am more than filed with the desire to help businesses navigate through the ever-changing digital landscape and achieve their goals. I believe that every business whether small or local deserves to have a strong online presence that drives traffic, leads, and revenue.
